The design of the book was based on a children’s storybook that tells a tale through images. The main character is an exaggerated form praying mantis, understood as a self-portrait of the artist as a young man. Titled after an Allen Ginsberg poem, A Way Out of the Mirror includes over two hundred drawings deliberately printed on thin paper. Croatoan is a newly opened cafeteria and coffee store in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, located on the ground level of existing building. The material palette is kept pretty clean and simple - gray terrazzo tops and sides for the bar and table-tops, natural plywood and black-painted steel elements. There are used simple combination between the elements and the clear gray-painted walls plus natural concrete floor and a line of cement tiles in it. ⥅
