Utilizing the extraordinary high ceiling height of 11’6 and expand on the length of the whole apartment we left an open corridor next to the storefront glass identified by the change of pattern on the hardwood flooring and the height and pattern of the ceiling. "Its All We Need" Whole House Residential Renovation
This seaside cottage, designed and built by Archia Homes in Massachusetts, is a transformation of a 1970s ranch home. The home was gutted of all finishes and the interior floor plan reconfigured. The roof lines were redesigned with perpendicular gables and the ceilings were raised from 7 to 9 ft. The textural board and batten and v-groove walls and ceiling finishes add to the warmth of the space and accentuate the rustic beams. The result is a 24 ⥅
