Although it was intended for use in fine-dining restaurants, On Bin can also be used in residential settings. It brings a mature and tranquil presence to the spaces where it exists in. In the Japanese language, Onbin means to be gentle, quiet, and amicable. It also means to be conflict-averse. The design attempts to create a physical representation of the essence of this word.
