View Profile Consult Now Hire NowA house with an unusual design. Large aluminum brise soleil form a contemporary facade, a dynamic composition with lots of movement. The climate of the region is characterized by high temperatures. These brise soleil protect the internal environments from intense luminosity and heat during the day. The integration of exterior and interior is made by big glass panels. Stunning environments and double height ceilings also characterize the architecture of this project. Environmentally friendly solutions such as photovoltaic panels for solar energy were used to give the finishing touches.

Contemporary features define this project. Concrete and gray tones make up the color palette and natural materials such as stone and wood were used. Slats in carbonized wood using an old Japanese technique, located on the west and south facade, protect the living and dining room from the intense sun in the afternoon. The windows throughout the house have a smoked film, reducing the light intensity in double height environments. Lighting is another important point in this project: at night the house transforms into a beautiful composition of lights and shadows.

Logan is a rusty steel armchair inspired by the Wolverine claws and by the desire of producing an object with light lines but surprisingly strong structure. With its lines and angles, Logan has an unconventional design formed by a set of three triangles united to promote stability and safety to the armchair. Its set of shadows, which seem to be part of its own structure, intrigues whoever watches and enjoys it.

The Baralho armchair has a striking contemporary design composed with pure forms and straight lines. Made of folds and welds on the brushed aluminum plate, this armchair stands out for its bold fit that challenges the strength of the material. It is able to bring together, in one element, beauty, lightness and the precision of lines and angles.

With its shape that resembles a Venetian gondola, the sideboard Veneza is a piece of geometric and unusual design. Straight and slim lines give it the appearance of lightness, even though it is a large volume object. The development of this sideboard has clipping and fitting techniques widely used in carpentry. Contemporary and oriented by the social responsibility and eco-friendly design, the entire structure is made of reforested wood.
