The ground floor holds the garage, the living and dining rooms, a gourmet space, a swimming pool, the kitchen, a guest bedroom and a service area. Two suites and a master bedroom are placed on the upper floor. The west, east and south facades carry a composition of lines made of black composite aluminum. These lines act as a brise soleil and reduce sunlight and heat inside the house. LED profiles make the pattern visible at night.

AD House is a single family residence located in Teresina, Brazil, a region with a very warm climate. The house offers 495 square meters of constructed space on a site of 814 square meters. The ground floor holds the kitchen, garage, living and dining rooms and a patio, while the bedrooms are placed on the first floor. A communal space for gathering and rest is set on the rooftop. The walls are made of ceramic bricks, the structure of concrete and the roof of thermo-acoustic aluminum tiles. Charred wood screens and integrated green spaces reduce the heat indoors.
