View Profile Consult Now Hire NowSolaris is a multi-layered wall decoration made for living spaces. The design is inspired by the fictional planet described in Stanislaw Lem's novel and by the idea of a reply to the human search for life in the universe. Each layer is drawn digitally, laser cut from beech veneered MDF, painted separately and then bonded into a deep wooden relief. Sunset tones ranging from orange to navy blue follow the rhythmic sequence of the layers. Lathe-turned iroko spheres and two 45 RPM vinyl records complete the composition.
