Rippling Continuum Residence
The staircase serves as the emotional anchor and a vessel of memory. Linear lighting flows along its arcs, diffusing softly throughout the home. Straight light strips intersect curved ceilings, stairs, and cabinetry, creating a tension of rigid and soft, taut yet slow. Marble and wood reflections further choreograph light and shadow. The spiral staircase adds vertical depth, while the open plan maintains horizontal sightlines, linking living, dining, and kitchen areas into a seamless space where daylight and family interaction flow freely.

Cross ventilation and balanced daylight improve comfort, while concealed linear lighting keeps surfaces clear. Mirrors and modular storage define flexible zones for exercise and meditation. Durable low emission finishes and reused joinery reduce impact, presenting a replicable path toward sustainable residential retrofit.

Satin Hair Salon
Based on the atmosphere and impression consumers feel when they enter the space, the designer used curved shapes to echo the hair that falls during a haircut. Then the hairdresser tides the hair for the consumer, which resembles a white iron mesh made of interlocking wires. The hard iron mesh clings to the curved wall, softening the strong character of the building material. At the same time, the space is more clearly defined. The whole room combines modernity and simplicity to create softness.

The power of inheritance comes from the reverence for life. The beehive-like design of the play area is based on the organization and continuation of natural life, with a pastel color palette and soft touch for children.
