The design uses op art, an abstract style calculated to create a special visual effect. The layout is based on the grid board and round pieces of Othello, a board game that originated in Mito. Each square shows an image related to basketball or a building or landmark that symbolizes Mito. Rotating shapes and colors form animations that are full of movement. The visual was made to draw the audience into an immersive experience.

Tokyo Giants Season Visuals is a series of photographic posters created for a professional baseball team in Japan. The visuals combine two photographs arranged as continuous scenes, so that still images express the drama of baseball in the manner of a film. The player photographs capture joy, anger and sadness, and are taken from high and unusual angles. The season concept marks the 89th anniversary of the team, as the number 89 means baseball in Japanese. A joint visual of the men's and women's teams expresses the spirit of diversity.
