The oldest known traces were found in China 4,000 years ago. Ancient Rome also used this technique. Thanks to the use of micro-porous terracotta, the roots draw the quantity of water necessary for their needs. In this way, the water shock is avoided and plant growth is harmonious. Uno is not a common vase, but a self-watering terracotta pot handcrafted in Italy. This smart pot is characterized by an automated system easy to use also if you don't have a green thumb. In fact, terracotta used has the right ratio of porosity for watering the plants. Uno has a modular and asymmetric geometry, coming with different colours and a limited edition. Moreover, the base allows to insert a metal frame for the growing lamp Meno giving birth to other two products: Due and Tre. The smart pot is composed by a terracotta pot and a glazed ceramic base, as a water tank.
