Generally, the relevant market segment is filled with product that are designed using plastics to achieve difficult curves and form language which feels appealing to the user and comfortable to the patient. It had been a design challenge for the designer to create a unique form factor using only sheet metal and subsequent processes while also keeping in mind the cost for a unique product as such having low-volume production.
