Designers eliminated all unnecessary ornamentation and incorporated various techniques into the work. The raw concrete, hammered surface, patterns created with cement spatula, even the rounded corners come together to convey the supreme architectural craftsmanship of Brutalism. The spatial arrangements allow bodily movements and vision to move throughout the space, allowing the people on the streets a view of and further exchange with the factory space, which is the heart of the cafe.
