View Profile Consult Now Hire NowEquilibrio is a sculptural sink that explores the contrast between the countertop's delicate inclination and its robust volume. Made by the assembly and modeling of several stone pieces in order to achieve a rounded format, the actual sink is created by a diagonal section and a slight tilt of the upper portion of the piece. The suggested supports are asymmetrical, with a hollow tube covering the plumbing on one side and a skinny leg on the other, but this piece could also be used without the supports.

In this renovation of an apartment built in the 1990s, all the internal walls of the social spaces were removed for maximum integration. The client possessed a large collection of relics and antiques. To overvome the challenge of bringing these elements together into a cohesive composition, every element was carefully chosen to create a mid-century feel. The primary component of this project, aside from the extremely varied furniture displayed against white walls, was the widespread use of Brazilian natural ornamental rocks.

This integrated area encompasses a spacious living room, a dining room and an elegant kitchen ingeniosuly conceived for maximum storage. The loose furniture which conform both the living and the dining areas add a very relaxed look to this project, while slatted panels which disguise all the cabinets used for storage build a clean contemporary background. Spared from excessive hardware while still maintaining all products, objects and memorabilia at hand, this kitchen feels more like a stylish bar around which friends and family can enjoy life's best moments.
