View Profile Consult Now Hire NowPosh Buster is a residential interior design for a house of 194 square meters. American walnut and stone form a warm base, contrasted with bold colors, soft curves, and graphic accents. The interior works as one continuous environment, where the kitchen, dining, and living areas connect, while private zones remain intimate. Most of the furniture is custom made and includes built-in and standalone pieces in MDF veneer, steel, and quartz. Interior doors with rounded corners and matte glass allow light to pass between the spaces.

The concept behind this interior design was to create a captivating and modern atmosphere while preserving the original authenticity of the space. The design incorporated curved shapes and handpicked materials inspired by midcentury modern architecture, which provided an appealing contrast to the cozy yet rustic feel of a log cabin. The redesign of the building's layout involved significant changes to both the structure and construction, resulting in more interior openings, larger glazed areas such as the full-width window in the living room, and an overall optimization for multi-family use.

Designer shaped the interior by a composition of intersecting blocks, structures, textiles and colors. Dark tones greatly contrasts with wood veneers giving a soft and cozy vibe. The proximity of a lake, thin frame windows and a rich palette of used materials help to create a bond between house interior and the nature outside. The essence of this design are the shapes on the floors, walls and ceiling. Zarysy built an interior composition which separates the spaces and functions, but at the same time brings them together creating one consistent design.
