S House Private Villa by Go Fujita

S House Private Villa
It is a refined three-story concrete exposed house located in Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture. Due to its proximity to neighboring apartment buildings and a busy road, the emphasis was placed on blocking sightlines and noise. The design incorporates a Japanese perspective, creating a blurred relationship between the interior and exterior, with gently rising exterior walls of varying heights serving as boundaries. As one progresses along the semi-outdoor approach formed by the gaps between overlapping exterior walls, the sounds of the outside world gradually fade away.

THIDAMOON HOTEL
A room where you can see the huge rock Tategami, which has been worshiped as a place where gods stop by before landing on the island from the sea, and has been an object of worship. Designers created a room that can only be felt here by using materials that can only be obtained on the island as interior materials. The interior of the guest room is made using sea sand and coral collected from the sea of Amami Oshima.

It is a plan of a restaurant on the shore of a lake in a national park. The booth in the private room is shaped like a mandarin duck, and the space is like a bird resting its wings quietly in a pond. Indirect lighting is also installed at the counter of the open kitchen and at the feet of the table seats to create a floating feeling like a mandarin duck floating in a pond. The height of this booth changes spirally, so it becomes a private space when you sit down. If you stand up, you can see the whole thing.

In order to improve the livability, the space was roughly divided into three spaces: a bedroom, a living room, and a semi-outdoor open air bath. The semi-outdoor space is a luxurious and relaxing space where you can enjoy the natural hot springs that spring from the premises while feeling the light, wind, water, and the changes of the four seasons. The space is a timeless space that collects the best of high-quality natural materials and craft techniques by actively using traditional Japanese crafts, omitting unnecessary decorations.
