The result of this is an armchair that could be define hybrid for the craftmanship applied to the solid wood base; the upper part is instead an enveloping armchair, that feels like a cocoon, very elegant in its shape in contrast with the base which is thick but at the same time tapered, interesting and very soft as a whole.
