The project was divided into three phases, which have led to a new system of access and enjoyment of the entire complex, through different strategies: the inclusion of services to support international exhibitions, the reorganization of museum itineraries, the rearrangement of some wings according to the box in box principle, the restoration of fine parts, the reopening of the underground hall and the redefinition of the entrance volume.

Diemme is a coffee roasting company based in Padua and very active worldwide. Its research and qualities are expressed in the concept of the Academy, a completely new structure that condenses different souls: at the same time a showroom, a certified training school for operators and a place for research on coffee. The goal was to create a space with many contents. The project is structured in work areas divided by some wooden totems and glass walls, with different degrees of introspection The high level of technological systems has been deliberately hidden to make coffee the protagonist.
