The designers optimized the original structure that the basement has a mezzanine. So, the 2-story basement is used for family's leisure and entertainment space. On 1F, the dining and living room is enclosed by U-shaped courtyard, presenting a spatial layout of 2 separate spaces. The 2F is mainly used as rest area. The design emphasizes the layout of master bedroom, which has a sense of ritual. Other traditional elements are also abstracted into patterns on screen, handles and metal ornaments
