View Profile Consult Now Hire NowAfrican Colonial Chic is a residential interior design for a two storey colonial house in Siglap, Singapore. The old house had sunk over time, and no two walls were straight. Full height double leaf French doors were repeated inside and outside to create consistent horizontal and vertical lines and to reduce the visual effect of the irregularities. Old brickwork was retained in the living and dining areas, while patterned tiles mark the kitchen, foyer and powder room. Rattan and whitewashed wood link the colonial architecture with modern South African style.
