Massing, proportion, and penetration are involved in minimalism lifestyle, which evolves in the satisfaction of physical needs bonded with intricate contexts. Probing into connotations of metaphysics relation, this apartment reunites seeming contradictions among curves and angles, polished steels and concrete cements, creating a moderate fusion. A wall is usually considered as a single unit of a framework. After being cladded with bent stainless steel, the wall metamorphoses into a functional carrier, bearing kitchen, storage, pipes, air-cons…etc, essential fixtures of daily living.

With 244 square-meter to utilize a family of three, the layout comprises 50% shared area and 50% private rooms. Backdrops without decorative cladding, curvy and smooth continuous surfaces slither along walls and area borders, not only indicating spatial identity, but providing both aesthetic and subdivision function. Home is where people share moments with family. Except the unit of time, in physics terms, moment refers to the rotational equivalent of linear force. The path of moment defines shapes and explains the topology of spatial forms, concluding with artistic and emotional appeals.

To consider high density of users, multiple business relations, and unknown meeting typologies, this workplace aims to be open-plan and non-standard paradigm, to support any type of group talks. At the 1st floor, the reception area is compartmentalized by flooring plans. Each area faces to different orientation, bringing a little contrast, but maintaining more privacy during business talks. On 4th floor, considerable office desks are installed in the core area, surrounded by a loop of artificial turf running track, connecting every division and uniting working forces among peers.

Conceive of the living space as a cuboid diagonally cut into two halves, in which of each half is likely a rhombohedrum, an individual unit. This concept transforms into living flows divided in the secant of splice. Each spatial section is not only open-plan, dynamic and sustaining flexible movement, but also subtly suffused with a tint of oriental ambiance. The master-planning is without any unused space; moreover, it not only comprises open-plan, roomy passage, but also provides accessible design for a habitable condition and multifunctional lifestyle to the senior citizens.

Cha Mi Chinese Medical Clinic
Situated in Taipei city, this project clinic abides by a well-rounded hospital facility standard, avoiding excessively long passages among consulting rooms, which is unfriendly to the elders and causes blind spots. The master-planning forges centralization by decentralization of regular layout, dispersing routes of therapy rooms and forming a centralized-circle plan. Intelligent automation systems are integrated at registration, dispensary, and description payment, which not only better the consulting process, but also comply with tech-life trends coming in the near future.
