Mi Quad Driver In-Ear Headphone adopts the advanced technology of hybrid quad drivers, 2 dynamic drivers, and 2 balanced armatures. Instead of showing the product image, this packaging design embeds the product into a nautilus shell to highlight the prominent sound effect of the product. Therefore, the whole image embossed on the surface to make the real feeling of the nautilus. Meanwhile, the silver paper with black ink gives the packaging a low sparkle to indicate high technology feelings. Due to the number of accessories and wires, the draw-out box structurally contains two layers.

The high-performance motor, impeller, and air duct design of this hair dryer are the inspiration for the packaging. The product uses a minimalist industrial design style, but the internal structure design has added many excellent technologies, such as high-speed motors, unique heating wire technology, etc. Packaging design extracts design elements from the internal structure of the product, such as complex internal circuits, ducts, and parts, and designs these elements into exquisite patterns.

This is a low-profile product that targets the lower end of the sports headset market. The target audiences are 18 to 29 year-olds. The design strategy is to imbue a product with personality and to visually personify the product. It uses images of famous musicians in the packaging, contributing to a personification of the product: the oval shape becomes the head, and the button becomes an open mouth. This creates the image of a composer passionately singing or vigorously conducting an orchestra, giving voice to an otherwise low-profile product, at the same time highlighting its design element.

Mi Kids Sonic Electric Toothbrush features an interactive brushing animation that children can learn from the app. As an inseparable part of the product, this packaging is characterized by cartoon elements and children illustrations. The packaging adopts a pull-out drawer, displaying images switched from tooth decay on the teeth to the dental plaque, then finally to the shiny teeth when sliding open the box. As a result of the distinctive design philosophy, the packaging is not only used for protecting the product but also tuned into an illustration book or a toy.

Mi Band 3 is a low profile product that targets the lower end of the sports headset market. For the packaging design, designers wish to emphasize the youth and energy frequently associated with this group of users, so the packaging uses a simple figure of “3” as the visual point, surrounded by a pattern design that draws inspiration from the athletics track. This pattern extends over the entire package, conveying the dynamical of sports using simple lines. Band 3 use different colors on the packaging to distinguish the versions.

The packaging design of Mi Watch stands out its characteristics of high technology. The 3D hologram is adopted to present a three-dimensional effect on the packaging. With different viewing angles, the flow of water ripples appears which reflects that time is like water flowing away quickly. The box employs embossed printing skills and the special printing ink that make the box feels as real as the product itself. As the watch is not sunken into the pulp tray but raising from the surface, it seems the watch is floating on the box.

The front design builds a clear structure to display product information. After all, packaging becomes a visual memory and stand apart from market competitors.

The design of the outer box of the packaging is inspired by this electric toothbrush product. According to the industrial design characteristics of the product, blue bas-relief technology is added to the surface of the outer packaging. In order to enhance the sense of hierarchy in the design, two high-ultraviolet lines are added to the pattern to emphasize the color and elegant lines of the product. The overall packaging box looks harmonious and unified, and the color of the packaging adopts the overall hue of the product-light blue.
