View Profile Consult Now Hire NowThe challenge of this project was to be able to re-propose the succession of secret spaces typical of Milan's historic canter, going beyond the ancient building structure through a contemporary design that would guarantee a new atmosphere. Being able to ensure adequate natural lighting for all spaces was only possible by creating wings and new openings that would allow the light filters through the large skylight in the living area to reach the most private spaces.

Located in a new refurbishment in Monza's city centre, the apartment has been created out of the union of several residential units. Split over two levels, the dark and warm toned lower floor offers a refined private area, with the upper floor providing a playful, social and bright airy space, designed for relaxation, wellbeing and entertaining. A wide steel staircase connects the two floors. The design scale goes from an architectural project to the furniture design and curation, till fittings and finishes.
