View Profile Consult Now Hire NowIt located in Portillo Beach, Las Terrenas. The housing of 850 square meters of construction has a high-end finish. The design is based on the integrity of the materials and how they blend into the Caribbean beach landscape: the natural gypsum floor, the unpolished travertine stone floor, coral stone and aluminum with wood finish, among others. The design design consists of a combination of different textures, elements and volumes. This manages to be balanced and with a good management of the materiality, being distinctive in its facades the concrete in its natural state.

The design of the envelope of Cecilip is conformed by a superposition of horizontal elements that allows to achieve the organic form that distinguishes the volumetry of the building. Each module is composed of sections of lines inscribed within the radius of the curvature to be formed. The pieces used rectangular profiles of silver anodized aluminum 10 cm wide and 2 mm thick and were placed on a composite aluminum panel. Once the module was assembled, the front part was coated with a 22 gauge stainless steel.

Excentrico is a constructive product of the openwork block function. It inspired by the Caribbean location where it is necessary for spaces to be permeable. This product serves the purpose of optimizing the natural ventilation of the architectural spaces inside achieving a better natural circulation used as a bioclimatic strategy. It is developed in 3 variants with the difference of the shape of the central hole.

It was developed with the idea of generating interior spaces that allow permeability, both physical and visual, with the exterior areas of the place. Native materials of the place, such as natural carved stones combined with wood coverings are combined, large-format marble tiles create a contemporary color palette and textures typical of its tropical Caribbean location.

After nearly four decades of history, the Ilumel store is one of the largest and most prestigious firms in the Dominican Republic in the furniture, lighting and decoration market. The most recent intervention responds to the need for an expansion of the exhibition areas and the definition of a cleaner and more articulated route that allows to appreciate the variety of collections available.
