The designers embedded several "function boxes" into the space to integrate daily functions, with activity areas being created between the function boxes. The original apartment, consisting of regular rooms, was transformed into a free-flowing space. The continuous areas outside the function boxes together constitute the circulation, with the yellow kitchen cabinet as the spatial center. Such transformation eliminated the "oppressive feeling" and also expanded the sense of space.

Minimal design language were used to create "abnormal" interior landscape, adding unconventionality to the space based on practicality. Trees and the undulating formation generated by storage spaces on the main desk produced the core interior landscape. In a small room, a plant pot also forms micro-landscape with the desk. Animal sculptures and lamps were placed on unexpected positions, which are eye catching. The floor at the window area was elevated, providing a good view of the outdoor scenery.

For the shape of the whole space, though we take factories of the Age of Steam as prototype, we kept only the most basic functional parts. We demolished the floor slabs in the original two storied space, and turn it into a space of 8 or 9 meters' high. We restored the ground space with a minimalist approach, and designed devices which offers new retail experience in the "reaction tanks". Consumers could have different new consumption experience brought by different devices in different tanks.

This is a tea brand boasting a history of more than ten years. The spatial design featuring "a house within a house", makes consumers feel like they are in the courtyard between allies. From the gap of grilles, they can see the bricks of the next door and the outdoor views. The space enables them to enjoy a cup of tea and experience the daily life of Chengdu people. In the design, designers presented the special way that Chengdu people make and drink tea with teacups(with lid), aiming at bringing back the memory and tea drinking culture of Chengdu people.

Design inspiration derives from an amazing natural phenomenon, crepuscular ray(Tyndall effect). Architect saves the ground space for landscape, with exhibiting boxes hanging in the air, which makes the whole indoor structure floating. Particularly designed acrylic boxes, accommodating numerous brands' jewelries, locate at different heights within visitors' sight and deliver load up through gold stainless steel pipes with a diameter of 13mm. The ceiling shapes a unique geometric cloud through a metal frame formed with a diameter of 2.5mm.

This office forms a unique symbol though the designers' bold space division and integration of volumes, arrays, and changeable designs The whole space is divided into three large areas, namely, public area, active area and quiet area, which reflect the diversity and integrity of working functions and give vitality to the space. The two big pillars from the original structure didn't create difficulty, but opportunities for the design. The whole space strived to create a "light" feeling. Designers integrated different types of offices to realize a free working experience.
