By exploring Sardinia's vibrant cities, rural villages and meeting many local families of civil servants, farmers, winegrowers, herders as well as their oldest family members, the reportage gives insights what it means for a person's individual life expectancy to grow old respected in an intact society and what each single day of a long life makes it worth living.
