Therefore, the issue of working in a gloomy space was improved. The design team hope to flip people’s imagination for the street by turning the form and structure to create a win-win situation for both interior and exterior space.

The original business space uses a many of mirrors to create a trendy teppanyaki dining space.With the change in business model to join the demand for Japanese catering. However, there is a stereotype of Japanese restaurant for most people. Based on above in this case. MII-DESIGN retain the original space structure and use light, easy-to-construct materials to save a lot of budget and create a unique space. And combined eastern and western elements to create a unique experience of dining in an outdoor forest in the rainy climate of Taiwan.

MII-DESIGN believe that the aesthetics of life is piled up from all kinds of experiences. The Layers use gray neutral tone as the main axis, stacking materials and lines with different textures. The team hope the perfectly combined layers can bring different feelings to the resident and turn it into the experiences of life. Finally, between the stacking light and shadow to provide a space to relax in the noisy city life.

The Diagonally divided chose a diagonal wall to link the functions of living room, dining room and bedroom together to eliminate the sense of stiffness. To cautious the good moderate space needed for each function of living, and decided the degrees of inclination according to the results of precise calculation. The design team for MII-Design hope the inhabitants to feel the fact that the living space was enlarged within the small house through exceptional design technique.
