View Profile Consult Now Hire NowThe project started by examining Zlin's history and its visionaries. Among these, Tomas Bata, one of the world's biggest footwear manufacturers and retailers. Analysing his and others successes formed the basis for the brand essence of Live Creative Spirit. The design dispenses carefully crafted brand DNA and essence of Live Creative Spirit to reinterpret the phrase Outside The Box. This manifests through a complex square-based visual identity, portraying a philosophical dichotomy of self imposed limits and unrestricted possibilities.

Designers were approached by an Italian producer launching a new range of non-alcoholic aperitifs, Amarico. The goal was to create a logo and packaging design for this authentic Italian product. They decided to develop the design around the product's key qualities, the beverage's aromatic, creamy and Italian style, with citrusy notes of bitter orange and lemon, fresh and crispy with a harmonious after taste. New fonts and a set of elegant hand-made illustrations were created depicting botanical motifs and ingredients.

The agency decided to abandon the cliches - Art Nouveau ribbons, heraldry, gold, crimson and green colours, Schwabacher font etc. They are overused and not communicating the needed craft. The agency put emphasis on simplifying the logo and marrying the analogue world, represented by a series of fine pencil-drawn motifs and lettering, and digital world, represented by simple shapes and clean spaces filled with an unorthodox colour-coded palette distinguishing the 15 beers.

How to distil the richness of Moravian Slovakia folklore into a beer label? We managed to craft a flat background, vector lines and typography into a vibrant ornamental and eye-catching visual style. The design can be further developed to match the type of beer Moravian Slovakia folklore motifs decorate the classic Czech beers, while label designs of the other styles introduce appropriate folklore elements from different regions and cultures (i.e. Stout – Celtic knots).
