View Profile Consult Now Hire NowThe space, created by folding white, thin slabs that have lost their mass and texture, shifts the axis of sensory interpretation from figurative to abstract and deepens understanding of formless events. The inside-their-side continuity facilitated by the building, and the abstract phenomena that result from its relationship with nature, make them aware that the basis of both is the same and shorten the distance between the two at once, merging them into one.

This villa consisted simply of roofs, columns, and walls, and some of the slabs were fitted with stainless steel mirrors to try to expand the nature. By making the columns only 90, Katsufumi Kubota succeeded in reducing their existence. The unity is deepened by almost eliminating the partition of the room, and the dining table integrated with the kitchen with a length of 3m emphasizes the longitudinal direction.
