Through the deconstruction of space and the reconstruction of form, the artist finally constructed this 'monster' with a huge volume that exceeds the human visual reading scale, like an alien object flying in from another dimension of time and space. Viewers could feel the association between the Pop Star and transcendental theory that Ralph Waldo Emerson said: The world globes itself in a drop of dew, while the artist enlarges a tiny compound eye into a behemoth.

The mirrored sight’ tells the story of the longli people — a vernacular community that has experienced isolation and tension in southeast guizhou, china. Located along the longxi river — outside the old town of longli — the project reflects on a critical period, brings in a new regionl landmark and viewpoint where people can rest and enjoy. It is composed of two floors that accommodate only one person: the lower one invites people to stay and rest, while the upper has a pyramidal inner space and provides different viewpoints across the landscape.

Hi Ladders High is a non-profit project launched in the summer of 2018. One Take Architects and volunteers, together with left-behind children designed and built this pavilion. It was set up to provides a place of variable spatial forms, could be designed and built all by kids. Common things are given completely different functions. Therefore, the kids have the chance to view them from a brand-new perspective. Architects want to use architecture as a medium to help these left-behind children grow, and show a new world to them - working in factory is not the only choice in the future.
