This experience centre is meant to showcase their manufacturing prowess with innovative use of rubber as material, and their brand strength through a narrative of an emotional journey from childhood memories to adulthood growth. Showpiece pendant lights were made out of rubber and lighting installations that played with optical properties of rubber.

A comprehensive integrated rebranding project that involved graphic branding rework, generating new brand assets like brand video, key image photography, and extend the branding across spatial design, facade treatment, signage and wayfinding. In response to a greater need for quality English education, the client is repositioning the company for the future and this rebranding project serves the needs for now and also reflects this vision for the future.

Our job is to design a Chinese Baijiu Bar for the young and fashionable. Chinese baijiu, a strong distilled spirit, is perceived to be for an older demographic, dated, boring and old fashioned. This is an exciting opportunity to reinvent the category, in terms of how chinese cultural elements can be interpreted in a fresh manner, yet respectful of its historical context. The name En Vain, French for ‘in vain’, is a direct reference to this playful attitude of how to interpret culture.
