The user can control the light of the lamp with each touch of copper metal. The designer has been looking for deeper interaction with the lamp. four houses as a sign of the four main elements of life and soft and warm light which is in the center of them as a sign of consciousness, the type of light and shadow resulting from its combination with houses creates a feeling of Poetically space.

It is tough to combine a contemporary design with a soft, homey feel but the Mehr Khaneh can give a few pointers on how to do so. Aptly named for it is creative use of natural light while also incorporating the Persian culture of harnessing the sun’s symbols within decor. Designers sat down to figure out a way to create a stylish industrial style home, mix in the Persian style. Immediately, the idea to use concrete finishes and repurposed materials of wood and metal were the obvious choices for the 101 square meters home.

Creating a space with an Iranian Genius loci and at the same time an up to date one and respecting the biological needs of mankind, was the general idea. So the elements like water, plants, and light were especially important. The main concept of design is originally the transformed Orsi window form which is comprised of a wooden lattice together with stained glasses. Attention to the time as 4th dimension by different balcony perspectives and using light and color performances and framing in the Entrance space of building, could introduce a new generation of Iranian architecture.
