The project is located in Liuzhou, a mountainous area with winding waters. Instead of simulating the landscape with shapes, Designer thinks it would be better to use light and shadow to create high mountains and deep water. The material facade is used to recreate the mental transitions of entering a deep forest, and to incorporate nature into the interior gestures. Designer imagines that walking through the interior of the building is like a mountain climbing practice, feeling the personal transformation of the mind and the tranquility of not clinging to material things.

The design aims to create an immersive environment, intending to infuse a garden-like charm into the modern sales office.Rather than transplanting and replicating traditional garden elements like curved bridges and pavilions,Water From Design shape the indoor volumes to evoke a similar ambiance. The core of this design lies in providing flexibility for user interactions even within a fixed and static architectural structure. Multiple pathways allow people to appreciate and explore the space from different positions and heights, adding to the joy of experiencing the garden ambiance repeatedly.

Guangzhou's dynamic cityscape, shaped by its geography and commerce, epitomizes the blending of north-south and east-west cultures. Water From Design highlight this synthesis through spatial design, seamlessly integrating traditional courtyards with Western-style buildings and covered walkways. their choice of materials, such as red travertine from the Middle East, pays homage to Guangzhou's Lingnan culture "red standstone" while also exemplifying its cross-regional approach to material sourcing from the West.

In order to rebuild the depth and elegance of the alleys and houses of Shili Yangchang, the designer of Waterfrom design chose serpentine, marble, walnut, brass and other contemporary materials to connect with the past, using a familiar and enchanting atmosphere from 1950s and 1960 as a visual overture. In this rhythmic layout, we hope to use some history from the bustling Shanghai to commemorate the exquisite classics that are compatible with its generation and regional art.
