The asymmetric appearance of the design is conceptually based on two nested cubes whereby the slanted base transitions into a comfortable horizontal seating position. The base is made of wood and painted with lacquer or covered with silver leaf while the cushions are covered with leather or fabric. Cubus geometric and clear outline lends itself to the use of very different color combinations.
