View Profile Consult Now Hire NowThe ideas of a tapas restaurant and a brewery bar were combined together, and became one synergistic restaurant. Both restaurants support each others' characteristics as a bar and a restaurant. Industrial elements and brewery system are exposed in the space, and the idea was elevated to the level of installation art by the designer. The beer tanks and elaborated piping are stored in the beautiful glass cases and brewing beers, and in addition to the system, imitation pipes and handles are added thought-out the space.

The inspiration was the natural resources of Xiamen including mountains, oceans, waves, rocks, caves, temples, streets, gardens, greens, flowers and trees. The city is blessed with beautiful ocean island scenery and wonderful subtropical climate, and even with gorgeous historical culture. In the same fashion, this restaurant does not just end with a seaside open terrace space but also a contemporary way to the space. Each of the charms of the unique elements of the Xiamen make a synergy to each other and expressing them in an art sculptural way as the restaurant concept.

This is the restaurant located in Shangri-la Hotel Xiamen. This restaurant is located in Hong Kong seaside. The ocean of Xiamen by interior design is expressed. The used real scale containers were invited to make this restaurant. These are giving dynamism and strong impression such as the containers not sticking on the wall but such as the feeling you are in port warehouse. At the private dining room, each of the rooms have different artworks on the wall and shelves and these are combination and contrast to the wall luxury wall-covering and bricks.

The overall inspiration for this project is great natural resource and south east Asian culture what can be found at the site, Singapore. Singapore is a city to own the unique culture that various culture harmonized with as a crossing of the Asian culture. It has been attention to transform the unique culture and garden concept into the space and balance them as design aspect.
