The two necessary legs of the chair are transformed into two thin panels with their bottom edges touching on the floor as a skid. They are wrapped with a band of fabric, that connects the top edges of the panels to a flexible seat, that automatically nestles to the back contour of the user. This design grants an active and most flexible sitting position, a reduction of its construction and required materials. Not being used it can be collapsed to a thickness of less than 20 mm.
