Gyuta Japanese BBQ Restaurant
Tajimaya HK opens Japanese style barbeque restaurant Gyuta at Citywalk in Tusen Wan, Hong Kong. It is the all-you-can-eat buffet, providing the fresh and high quality meat at a resonable price. Drawing inspiration from the cinema canteen, the design features a lively, pop and casual. The brief was to create a casual, cozy and cool environment to suit a family dining experience.
Tajimaya HK opens Japanese style barbeque restaurant Gyuta at Citywalk in Tusen Wan, Hong Kong. It is the all-you-can-eat buffet, providing the fresh and high quality meat at a resonable price. Drawing inspiration from the cinema canteen, the design features a lively, pop and casual. The brief was to create a casual, cozy and cool environment to suit a family dining experience.

Blackzmith Eyewear Shop
The element of design was simple. The colour scheme was used black and white as the concept colour of the shop, mustard was chosen as an accent which was used for flooring colour. The designer lined up white coloured panels in the arched form to combine with a black background to not only highlight the shop space but also give the refined feeling to the customer. Antique style chairs and a pendant light, which studio C8 chose for furniture and decoration, were brought some warmth and welcoming atmosphere into the space.

JZ Club Jazz Bar
In October 2016, the JZ Club unveiled their new location at Found 158, in the middle of a local park on Julu Lu, Shanghai. The JZ Club is one of the most well known jazz clubs in Shanghai, and even in China. They have been attracted jazz lovers since it launched. Inspired by old Shanghai, the use of the grey brick as a backdrop and the color red of Italian stucco wall was used to highlight the space ambience. Red curtains adorn the walls, art deco lamps dimly illuminate the tables, and old Shanghai accents are sprinkled throughout. It creates a mysterious yet intimate place for all.

Tajimaya Shabu Shabu Japanese Hot Pot Dining
This Japanese hot pot dining Tajimaya Shabu Shabu is located at apm mall, which is the popular spot for the young and trendy generations, in Kwun Tong Hong Kong. On entrance, the skeletal timber structured wall provided to display greenery and the original decoration objects of the brand. Handmade styled tiles were selected for the upper part of the walls and natural oak was applied for the timber panelling with red colored line. The earthy tones materials and simple design style are to create an environment that would change the eating experience of Japanese food as before.

Following on from the success of 298 Nikuya Kitchen T.S.T, Nikuya group opened Porker (which is a concept bar to enjoy the aged pork dishes with a drink) in Central, Hong Kong. Located on Pottinger street, where is famous as the stone slabs street, Porker offers a relaxing space where time flowing slowly. The overall design scheme combines a stylish element and the warmth of wood to create a cozy place. A focal feature is the wall decoration, which has been chosen the unique wall covering to put an imagination into the space (it is reflected on the wordplay of porker and poker).

Black and white pattered tiles are used on the floor at the entrance, and green pattered tiles are selected on the main hall floor. The wall is covered with metro tile and concrete, and put the light bulb messages on it. Big mirror ball pendant lights are to show a unique impression at the dining. Arranging the different coloured chairs to grace the restaurant interior.
