The wavy walls, does not only create a sense of movement and energy, it also cleverly hides the irregular shape of the existing space. Light troughs are used running up the curved walls, strengthening the idea of flow and adding an illusion of height. The curvy walls, not only bring a sense of flow and energy to the space, but the curved alcoves are perfect for exhibiting the client’s artworks.

A residential building over 50 years old with an unconventionally linear Layout home in which two bedrooms are accessible directly from the main living area. Concealed doors have been deliberately designed to be indiscernible from the rest of the walls and decor. At one end, balcony doors open up to spectacular views of Victoria Harbour, allowing natural light to diffuse directly to the opposite end of the space, where a glass sliding door study room has been sited for maximum visual transparency. Meanwhile, the effect of pale-coloured walls and ceiling is to disperse light and create a sense of spaciousness.

Comfort is the touchstone of design in this airy paediatric clinic. The selection of materials & colour throughout the clinic emphasise openness; glass & wooden slats bring ample light into reception where new born area behind enjoy the seaview. The extensive use of soft hues and natural texture instills a sense of calmness. The wooden slat walls are oriented vertically to add height and enhance spaciousness. Upon entering, visitors are greeted with a commodious reception, unaware that the consultation room is just to their side, concealed behind a door that blends seamlessly into the walls.

A revitalization project to convert an old industrial building to a commercial office building. This is a challenging site with no natural light, numerous beams and a very low ceiling. Light troughs are evenly distributed throughout the ceiling and extending to the surrounding space to conceal the numerous beams with a concept of sustainability & continuity. The location of the reception area is carefully designed to surround the existing square column to make it feel like a whole tailor made unit. Because of the low ceiling, we use a number of design features to create an illusion of height.

The origins layout of this Duplex was composed by lots of bedrooms to serve as accommodation for employees of a company, the layout made the duplex feel dingy and dark. We reconfigured the space into a large open-plan with living & dining room, kitchen with an open-tread steel staircase to penetrate more natural light to the Foyer. Master bedroom Is located on the upper level where the master bathroom had been relocated next to the big window. A tailor-made basin with glass partition separates the bath tub area to maximize the light into the closet area.
