MeokBang Premium BBQ is a Korean Grill Restaurant combining trendy with young styles which offers an authentic experience of Korean barbecue in a relaxing place where diners could enjoy a wide range of Korean dishes in a perfect place for a gathering with friends. The most primitive raw materials are fully utilized to generate a modern and future atmosphere. Designers deliberately made good use of extremely high and low building ceilings, as well as placing radioactive woods of different sizes, for the sake of creating more space advantages.

Designer created an artificial crystal cave for the cafe. To match the brand theme of Beans Cafe, which providing a breathable place for people to escape from busy living, technique of light reflection and materials selection are applied. Cave also a protective shelter, customer feels safe and relax inside. Shining of crystal catches their eye and reminds them the good time in there.

The design idea to bring customer eye wide opened to dine in a Japanese restaurant beyond imagination. Fully adopts Surrealisme in interior architecture to enrich the dining experience. The extensive use of wood, and in particular the organically sculptural forms of the tables, chairs and ceiling elements in contrast to the linear wall cladding, endow the interior with Found in Time concept .

Designers created an unique Tsing Yi Teawood restaurant dominated by gray-blue and wood-colored, generating a feeling of being surrounded by the sea. The extensive use of murals on the wall and mirrored imaginary suspension bridge over the diners heads are the products of designers after visiting the Five Bridges, bringing the local features to the interior.

Teawood at Aberdeen with the design concept Happy Fishermen due to the historical background of the place, where was a fishing village famous in Hong Kong. With signature pattern of fishing tools and symbolic colour of Hong Kong’s fishing village, designers come up with a contemporary meets traditional interior design.

Attracted by the two cube lightings at front door and then come to a sign ‘Get Shocked! Square in 3-Dimension Power without Limitation’ when entering the restaurant and the design concept, Electric Power Cube is printed on visitor's mind. Energetic and dynamic icons are in the restaurant to match this new developed district in Hong Kong. Ceiling light in cube, feature wall with gear wheels embrace the variant ambience to attract young generation. The circuit liked bronze track on the wall connected the whole restaurant into the theme. Visitor is recharged for their body and mind after dining.

The restaurant is in a family mall called Mega box, and it is interesting to have a surprise box inside this mega box to enrich the harmony and cheerful lively atmosphere. The harmony design brings all kind of customers in different age and well fit the all day menu the restaurant provided.

Demonstrating the ambience of the famous movie In the Mood for Love, which presents elegant and romantic French meets Chinese culture. The design brings visitor back to 70s Shanghai, they can feel the aggressive transformation of Shanghai by the stunning and signature colour of the place. An artistic touch on the traditional Shanghai’s style expressed in its brick wall, elegant glass lamp, signature colour of oldish Shanghai decoration set the tone of the restaurant to realize the famous romantic Shanghai French Concession at Shanghai Po Po.

A project with two different theme and type of cuisines, maintaining its integrity under the brand, Gong (hard/masculinity) Yau (soft/ femininity) is the design concept of the project. Inspired by Yin and Yang, which describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world. Gong and Yau to represent grill and boil respectively, just like a contemporary Japanese’s love story of Yamato nadeshiko and bushi that showing authentic Japan’s spirit with modern touch.
