This can be achieved by giving the object an opportunity to shape itself for the function it has. By only making incisions in the wooden materials, its true nature gets revealed as a functional bowl. The transformation, made possible by rubber technology, leads to an interaction between the final user and the used object. If the Rising Shell is not being used, it can be seamlessly folded back, only to have it open and rise up like a budding flower when it is needed again.
