Lam's Villa Private Residence
The designer was tasked with remodeling a generous four storey villa in Kowloon, Hong Kong. This capacious 700 sqm residence with elevator is the new home for a young couple. One of the space standout features is the soaring ceiling in the living space. The designer is therefore making use of this most eye catching part to create a luxurious yacht inspired interior with a hospitable and friendly personality that would definitely impress visitors when entering the abode. As such, comfy and stylish design elements, as well as relaxing hues have been thoughtfully applied to the overall decor.
The designer was tasked with remodeling a generous four storey villa in Kowloon, Hong Kong. This capacious 700 sqm residence with elevator is the new home for a young couple. The Grandeur Show Home
Inspired from ribbon dance, when entering the abode, guests are greeted by a carefully arranged visual art installation. A frame-like partition is placed between the main entrance and the dining; thus, has created an illusion that the art painting (dining area) and the screen partition (foyer) are one single unit. As such, the art painting serves as a decorative piece for both the foyer and the dining. Subtle bronze detailing wraps around the ceiling, and connects with the bespoke cabinet and the floor-to-ceiling screen to create a hotel-like luxurious interior.

The fan shaped layout is basically divided into three zones. Firstly, the multi purpose living zone and the conference area inspired by the idea Design Lounge. It comprised of a well equipped open kitchen, a restaurant and a meeting room. Secondly, the working area furnished in stylish black and white palette. It have another enclosed private space features the wine tasting and cigar room. To visualize the motto Enjoy Your Design Life. Meanwhile, a comfy and engaging ambience is created, ensuring an impressive, pleasurable experience for the potential client.

The designer was commissioned to furnish this seaside apartment for a multi-generational family. Keeping with client desire for a weekend retreat, the overall design emphasizes comfy, freshness and flexibility. The family love for gathering and socializing has been incorporated into the layout composition, especially in the shared space. When client check in this apartment, occupants can freely choose their favorite rooms to sleep over, like checking in to the hotel.

The Morgan Private Residence
Utilizing the abode soaring ceiling, a custom built cylindrical stacked volume is created in order to bring the homeowner vision into reality. For instance, unusual curvy stacked volume consists of five layers. Such as living area on the floor level, sleeping quarter on above, a bookshelf, a dining table and the custom built stairs. From the inner to the outer, the smallest to the largest. Five overlapping circles have been created to fulfill different functions, at the same time sharing the same central point to become a 360 degree living circle concept in these 400 square feet flat.

The designer sought inspirations from urban landscape. Scenery of hectic urban space was thereby ‘extended’ to the living space, characterized the project by Metropolitan theme. Dark colors were highlighted by light to create splendid visual effects and atmosphere. By adopting mosaic, paintings and digital prints with high-rise buildings, impression of a modern city was brought into the interior. The designer put great effort on spatial planning, particularly focused on functionality. The outcome was a stylish and luxurious home that was spacious enough to serve 7 people.

It is a 1.8 meter dining table without four legs with lighting effect but supporting objects more than 200 lb. Due to the constraints of existing layout, structural changes could hardly be made to expand the entrance foyer and dining area – which is quite small in proportion. The designer is therefore introducing an out of ordinary fixture that could help enhance the overall spaciousness and offer a surrealistic feel.

Classic elegance interior inspired by sophisticated men's suits is thereby introduced into this 1,324 square feet living space with three generation under the same roof. As a family, they love to spend time together, chilling out in the living/ dining area. Thus, the brief was to create a warm and lived-in environment, particularly the dining area to strengthen bonds between family members. As such, designer thoughtfully outfitted the walls with light oak paneling. Not only because of aesthetic beauty – remain the tasteful and elegant ambiance, but also for consistency.

This 2,476 sq.ft. unit, located in a high-end and luxurious area, is embraced by the signature sea view of the Victoria Harbor. The designer acted as a gown tailor and transformed this unit of high value into a beauty wearing a custom-made evening gown by using materials such as gold leaf in champagne gold color, figured maple in grey-wooden tone and granite with unique vein lines. In addition, one of the highlights in the design was the implementation of the Smart living System, providing all-in-one control of the electrical devices to bring daily convenience to the owner.

Inspired by the cramped and suppressive working environment of the staff, the designer chose to break through the traditional frame of an office. The 50-year-old unit was transformed into a stylish and relaxing workplace by adding playful elements in it such as the leisure and entertainment zone. Smart living system and energy saving lighting system were introduced in order to let clients have hands-on experience of the systems and to carry out green office practices. Also, the lighting effects help create layers and mood for the black interiors.
