Blooming Restaurant
The switching and changing images of light and shadow reflected by the prism from different angles, uncertain and unpredictable, release more colorful and wonderful space perceptions of different dimensions and evolving space orders. The kaleidoscope is like a dialogue box that comes from a person’s hidden mind and depth of the soul, showcasing the space rules and limits of its hidden world and telling the audience the beauty and wonder of its world, while enabling the audience to have communication and dialogue with it from the subconscious level.

The Fire of Holy Spirit Art Exhibition
Metamorphosing between visible and invisible, the Spirit of God is manifested in a variety of forms, as the blazing “fire” represents the true form of the visual description of Holy Spirit. It is not only a reflection of God’s absolute holiness and righteousness, but also a special token for God’s covenant with his children. It is symbolic of the glory of God’s judgment too holy to be beheld, while shedding light on the fact that only after going through the trial by fire could people aspire to be worthy of the crown of life.

Designer intends to replicate this simple attitude toward life that people of the past held using the lyrics, which reflects the unique feeling of a local who has experienced by himself the transition of the Beijing city. Designer wants to express a life attitude supported by one’s inner spirit, simple, humble and full of human touch. we can share the stories among us and recall the memorable moments.

Fenghemuchen hopes to pay tribute to the immortal God through this work. May his light pierce through this humble community library and enlighten the hearts of the readers, leading them to trace the real source of wisdom in the sea of books. We may have ten thousands reasons to turn away from and even rebel against him. Yet, as the night falls and the world is still and quite, the inquiries from the depth of our soul are resounding – Where do we come from? Who are we? Where are we going to?

To reduce human intervention, whilst accentuating nature, keeping a mentality of humbleness to the environment. They have eliminated the pride of the people, allowing the environment to embrace the people. They open up the space above, allowing sunlight to fall in. It revives the lifelessness inside, adding dynamic elements and creating an atmosphere of tranquillity and allowing light to come in.

They use a simple and intuitive design to express the relationship between the readers and books through space scenes: simple, tranquil, humble and low-profile. With an understanding of each book’s unique character, They know that the souls enveloped in the books are the real owner of this bookstore. Readers club activities, forums and speeches will also be presented at this place.

Through the metaphor of featured language forming a multiple space by deformation, transplantation and collage of historical symbols. 14m high central void possesses the symbolic silhouette of European architectural civilization with a building model surrounded by multi-functional area. Designers applied music as carrier of emotion and curvy features with bold and unrestrained reverie as design language to have notes run through the entire space by lighting experiencing the flow of modern space.

Hongkan Lingshijun Pulin Type-C Villa Villa
The designers used plenty of traditional movable wooden screens; shape of those screens came from their intensive research of traditional decorative patterns; they became the only visual element of tradition in the whole space. The use of screens reflected Chinese scenery theory of virtual and tangible. The virtual are fulfilled by the tangible, the tangible are upgraded by the virtual, and that became a unique construction mode of this design.

Trees are growing out of the building to form a thick umbrella canopy which covers the roof and wraps the entire building. Therefore, designers eliminate the shield by enclosing Ming Pavilion with glass, which allows the leaves and branches to filter the sun, rain, dew, wind, snow and moon light, to release the homely feeling of being surrounded by nature, to sense the fast-changing natural breath along with the whether transformation.

Brightly polished tubes of different lengths and rhythms are used as props to produce rain-like beams, which makes the thin chair “drift in air”. As for colors, a sharp contrast between vision-impacting red and illuminant white, respectively representing blood and holy light
