View Profile Consult Now Hire NowThe residential building located adjacent to the road was called Imperial Envoy Avenue where the US Ambassador's residence and American Embassy were located. The rhythm of the public facilities space design is based on the idea of water. As the metaphor of time and traffic creates the imagery of transparency and reflection of flow movement. Wood grill ceiling with curved wavy three-dimensional shapes the water flow from the main entrance all the way to the reception desk and continuing through the lounge and mailroom, the ceiling of the underground parking area as well.

Boundless –where humanities meet community The site is a mixed use apartment building situated in the famous philosophical neighborhood in Taipei city adjacent to the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) where school teachers are educated. This area is not only home for many scholars, but also clusters for independent bookstores, galleries give special something to this area.

The site is facing an important north-south road, Xinsheng south road, and locates in between two major east-west boulevards, Renai Road and Xinyi Road. Only about 200 meters away, there is a 26 hectares Daan Park considered as the Central Park of Taipei. In order to reflect the idea of its nature surroundings, the showroom is designed to bring the nature inside and reduce carbon footprint becoming a green node in concrete jungle.

Utilization of internal space: The floor plan was restructured and the obstruction of divisions removed. "The space was unified through a large scale, open plan design" which intimately links all spaces while allowing a clear view of the mountains in the nature preserve all around. Spatial architecture conveys an attitude towards life, an in-depth "introspection" of the relationship between the primary space and the surrounding environment.
