Linear Refraction Desk and Ambiance light
Linear Refraction series is customized lighting for Hotel 35. Located in Lishui, the capital of photography, Hotel 35 is the first design hotel in China which merged art village and tourism industry and create a new business model type. Artist Ray Teng Pai tried to explore the relationship between time, space, and person under the theme of photography. Linear Refraction series creates a contemporary composition of geometry in the hotel room, and responds to the photography of art.

Linear Flora Lantern Installation
Linear Flora is inspired by the number “three” from the bougainvillea, the flower of Pingtung County. Apart from the three bougainvillea petals seen from below the artwork, variations and the multiples of three could be spotted in different aspects. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Taiwan Lantern Festival, Lighting design artist Ray Teng Pai was invited by Cultural Affairs Department of Pingtung County to create an unconventional lantern, the unique combination of form and technology, sending a message of transforming the heritage of the festival and connecting it with the future.

25 Nano Ambient Light
25 Nano is an artistic light instrument to represent ephemeral and permanence, birth and death. Working with Spring Pool Glass Industrial CO., LTD, whose vision is building a systematic glass recycle loop for a sustainable future, 25 Nano chose the relatively fragile bubble as a medium in contrast with solid glass to embody the idea. In the instrument, light shimmers through life cycles of the bubble, projecting rainbow-like color and shadows to the environment, creating a dreamy atmosphere around the user.

The tube bending technique of Linear Light is vastly used for producing vehicle parts. The fluid angular line is realized by precision control of Taiwanese manufacturer, thus have the minimum material to construct the Linear Light light-weight, strong, and portable; ideal to light up any modern interior. It applies flicker-free touch dimming LED chips, with memory function which turns on at the previous set volume. Linear Task is designed to be assembled easily by the user, composed of non-toxic material and comes with flat-packaging; doing its best to reduce environmental impact.

Inspired by folding paper, the method to fold a plain sheet of paper into Three-dimensional Container can easily to be achieve in manufacturing, saving material and cost. In Rows Tray Set can be stacked, put together or used individually by users preference. Using the concept for adding up hexagon angles in geometry makes it easy to put together in different ways and angles. The carefully designed space is ideal for putting daily objects like pens, stationery, mobile phones, glasses, candle sticks and so on.
