View Profile Consult Now Hire NowThis project is an 2 decades aged building, there is a planning for the old reconstruction, which the scope for the interior design and engineering works includes the 1st Basement and the 4 Storeys above ground in this villa. The massing of the staircase connecting the upper and lower floors shows the modest taste of the villa through the simple materials, the design of handrails, and the changes of light and shadow.

This space is to create a living space accommodating both openness and enclosure, where transparency and privacy coexist, and by introducing a base tone of whiteness, large ratio open areas and light in abundance, the designer successfully retained space flexibility while enhancing scenic versatility; whereby elements of a linear staircase, high ceilings and boundless setup all added to the above.

The house is located in Tien Mu distinct in Taipei and was taking place during the pre-built phase. The interior space is about 330 square meter with elongated structure, long corridors, and a large terrace, therefore the layout must be carefully considered. By adapting the creative concept of sunshine container, a large ground glass and the setback design of floor, successfully delivered plenty of light and green view to the indoor environment.
