A sliding glass door provides access to both spaces through a small foyer. Which are met by a concrete wall that becomes the base for Sartoria’s vault on the right, and Buna’s wrap-around wall to the left. Buna’s space features a 3.28 meter-long bar. The space in Sartoria is defined by the vault, 5.60 meters wide by 5 in length, covering an area that holds 25 guests. The vault’s curve and back wall were used to create a wine cellar that holds 250 bottles. The terrace is common to both spaces. The Architect’s House Apartment
The Architect’s House Apartment
This project is an answer to what an architect’s house is like. It is an apartment where family affections and a life philosophy are placed in a diagram. The project gives priority to primary building materials, wood and concrete. It is a masculine concept, sober and protective. Here, small children have their own apartment, while under watch and company of their parents. Also, the architect and his wife have areas for sharing but also intimate spaces. This one-story home is filled with symbolic allusions and references to the architect’s craft.

House on the 12th Floor Apartment
The present design for the apartment’s interior is a conceptual play for the interiors apartment on a 12th floor. The intention was for this apartment to symbolise the ideal of a house with a garden. As such, the interior design is based on two aspects: a functional diagram that gives ample space to all areas in the apartment along with a main hall that has an A-shaped ceiling, simulating a gabled roof, as well as a vertical garden on the dining area’s wall. The project successfully synthesises these formal concerns with a functional layout, even allowing of certain design pieces.
