The objective was to create a wooden toy that could move almost like a human and it was achieved by using kneecaps and magnets as joints. The Wonkis are very flexible. But they had to be nice looking too: their rounded eyes and nose give them a friendly appearance. They have different accessories to create different worlds, from a surfer to a Viking warrior. No plastic, only wood and magnets and steel kneecaps are used. A CNC machine can produce them at a large scale, although a lot of hand finishing is needed as well.

At wodibow they believe that toys can mix design with being 100% natural. Mastodonts is a family of wooden magnetic animals inspired in architecture. From 1 body you can build 4 animals just by changing the heads, mouths and ears. No plastic, no paint, no varnish nor glue. It is all beech wood and magnets and finished with wax made of olive oil and beeswax. It is presented in a box made of poplar. They include a cloth and a tin of wax to maintain the Mastodonts. They design and produce in Spain to double-check every one of the pieces they make. To produce they use hi-tech CNC machinery.

Cwic, was designed to be both a tree that you can personalize into every season and a wood toy to explain the life cycle. A big trunk of a tree designed in wood with magnets inserted here and there. The magnets are inside the trunk to support circles of different sizes and colors that represent the foliage of the tree in the different seasons. Reducing foliage to circles of different sizes and colors is one of the main design ideas. Bigger in spring and summer, white for winter, and orange for autumn. The other design achievement is the packaging a wooden flowerpot that holds all the pieces.
