Besides their online store, this project is their first brick-and-mortar store to present the related products of their IP providers to have actual contact with ACG fans. E-Muse wanted to discover a new way of interacting with customers and to have a wider audience. By narrative design method to embrace contextual marketing, designers created an imaginative place for ACG lovers to shop in reality. Therefore, they will have the opportunities to land in bigger ACG retail shops and distribute their products.

A PLACE WITH THOUGHT Recreating the literary culture, passing down the creative arts. Located in Central West District , and being the oldest capital of Taiwan since Ming Dynasty, Silks Place Hotel is the first luxury hotel of its kind in Tainan city. By embracing history and culture of this city, designer takes “OLD ACADEMY” as design concept. Bring in literary culture and Minnan style architectural elements to decorate the space, blending traditional materials into the interior. The design traces back ancient Chinese private college imageries, showcasing generous texture and artifacts.
