The idea of a city block was adopted as a seminal design concept to create the overall dining environment. A city block is the epitome of an entire city, reflecting the conflicting yet reverberating cultures from the past to the present. Contemporary elements were added to the design to complete the image of a miniature city.

1. “Nature” is the theme of this project, reflecting the lifestyle of the proprietor, who is health-conscious and loves nature. 2. Stone, veneer, streamlined ceilings, and outdoor landscaping are used to represent “mountains, forests, water, and landscapes”; these elements are combined with breeze and sky to create an elegant and quiet spatial atmosphere.

An embrace is a gesture used to express emotion. The concept was presented in a large spatial architecture. We focused on how to infuse love and care into an environment and planned a simple, subtle, and creative method to describe the warmth and harmony of a home, exhibiting cordial affections. Arc lines, and light harmonious tones of colors were employed to symbolize the feelings and emotions inspired by an embrace and to connect the common area, cover girders, and eliminate the sense of enclosed or constricted space simultaneously.

Traditional Eastern culture requires weddings to adhere to traditional practices, whereas Western culture is liberal and unconstrained. The design concept of this hall focused on preserving the uniqueness of the local culture to create a Western atmosphere while simultaneously integrating contemporary design techniques.
