How to utilize space in an irregular pentagon? The designer's decision was to adapt their designs to the given shape and, through careful arrangement of all elements, allow the rough stone to shine. Designer, Lin Yu Wei, restructured the available space, rearranging the existing skylight, light-absorbing shades and windows to let adequate light into every room. As the light shifts, their see-through designs produce interesting patterns of light playing on the walls, further underlining the overall artistic effect.

If, after years of working in the business, an designer were to make a new start, in a new office, how would that go?No more clients’ demands to weigh you down, no more restrictions to cramp your style. It’s like a dialogue with space. To overcome constraints imposed by long rectangular shape of available space, large items of furniture-conference table, front desk, and self-designed Y-shaped worktable are designed at a 45 degree tilt, not only opening up more room for walking around, but allowing wonderful scenery outside to make its visual impact at a niftily slanted 135 degree angle.
