Patakukkonen Rye Pie Innovative merchandising of packaging
Patakukkonen is a Finnish traditional oven baked kukko (pie) made from regional ingredients. The brand was inspired by the owner grandmother's cooking, which in turn prompted us to incorporate snippets of the actual family history through authentic photographs. The packaging allows the product to be merchandised 5 different ways, working around the challenge presented by the diverse environments where the product would be showcased and ensuring flexibility and visibility.

Peltolan Blue Cheese Innovative brand and packaging design
The ''Slice of Finnish Nature'' was a narrative taken literally and transferred to the stackable structure that forms a birch tree – an approach, which offers impressive merchandising opportunities which instantly differentiated the brand. The front of the packaging communicates natural refined wood, which suggests the refinement of the cheese making process. Within the natural wood grains there are hidden illustrations details, which once discovered adds to the story that consumers embrace by inviting this product to their homes.

The packaging has enabled the simple Amandines biscuit to be considered as a premium proposition. The brief was to use standard materials and keep to a reasonable budget but to create something that people have not seen before. The simple effective use of carton material has enabled the product to be merchandised in three different ways 1. to stand upright and proud for the retail environments 2. to stand on its side to be slightly more submissive in smaller retail environments 3. to lay naturally on its back on table ready to be shared.

Wishbhone Product-Packaging Integration
The intelligent one-piece structure folds in on itself and the diecut hole provides an inner slot mechanism that keeps the product in place. The structure continues to fold in on itself and eventually locks to create a pack that resembles a display case. The packaging has been designed to work effortlessly and make sure the product is given a hero status. The unique hidden euro hook provides an additional optional retail function, however this can be hidden to allow the product to stand on its legs in a premium retail environment and look less like a commodity.

Bragazzis is a fine Italian food retailer in the North of England, that has been in the industry for three family generations. Despite of the long company history, Bragazzis as a brand was lacking an identity. PACKLAB incorporated direct product symbolism within a modern minimalistic design, that works jointly to deliver distinct shelf presence for the range of brand name products. The new identity boldly communicates the purity and premium quality of the products, while positioning Bragazzis as an upscale brand with maturity and vision.
