A simple Möbius strip (topological figure non-orientable) shaped in such a way as to evoke the figure of a cobra. Carbon fiber black or white and LED lighting (dimmable), placed in a way to project on a wall or around the looming shadow of a cobra head. The choice of placing the light source in the base shows ironically the artistic value of the object, leaning on it as on a pedestal and star in generating the play of light and shadows. The famous tale of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp inspires the object’s shape while modern technology creates its magic effects. Made of a black carbon fiber epoxy resin, the lamp turns on/ off/ dims at the lightest touch. Conceived as table lamp, wall or suspension, this fantasy object is dedicated – on his specific request - to Arturo Brachetti, new genius of the lamp and internationally well-known, extraordinary quick-change actor. Isadora, Series Luminaria, Suspension/ Floor lamp. Resin sculture, details in special steel corten. Led lighting. The Luminaria sculptures – realized in resins of diverse chromatic hues – embody the human figure in various positions and moods, draped as anthropomorphic shapes. ‘Isadora’ evokes the artistic freedom and the poetics of the amazing dancer Isadora Duncan. These sculptures become lamps, a poetic art design object from an original clay model. They are intended to subtly solicit the senses and emotions and fit to special spaces, public and private.
